So today I want to share with you something I came up with and that I re-tell myself and the people around me ALL the time! Don't try being me, because I am the best the best Cori EVER. Don't try being Hannah because she is best Hannah! If you ever try being Cori or Hannah you will only ome up as second best... BE YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST YOU! If anyone tries being like you they will only come up as 2nd, 3rd, 4th (ect.) best! Beat everyone else at being you. If you ever try being me or someone else you will only ever (at best) come in at 2nd best.
We spend too much time trying be someone else when we could be being ourselves. Some of us go overboard, we stress ourselves out, we spend time, we spend money, we lose sleep. we lose friends, push ourselves to be "good enough, and we lose ourselves in the midst of all of this because we are trying to be some one we aren't. Don't lose yourself! Don't forget who you are! Don't fabricate a disguise!
God made us look the way we do,gave us the tastes we have, the personalities that make us,and put us where we all are for a reason. Use all of those things to your advantage and encourage others to do it with you!
