Ephesians 2:10
10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

MASTERPIECE. MASTERPIECE. MASTERPIECE! Do you realize how big that word is!? When we think of a "masterpiece" we tend to think of Van Gogh or Degas! Not of ourselves. We spend TOO much time thinking of what others think of us, of how we look, and of what we can do to make others like us, and often times we go about changing ourselves to make "friends". We are a masterpiece of God!!! We don't need to change ourselves for him! God has made us each in a unique way to glorify Him. Not all of us are beautiful in the media's eyes, smart enough for our teachers, athletic enough for the team, good enough for the job, or good enough for ourselves. Sometimes we look in the mirror and instead of ourselves we want to see someone else. BUT WHY!?
God has such an amazing plan for each of us but we try to make out plans too many times. Next time you look in a mirror list the beautiful things about you on the out and inside, list the things your good at and ask God how He wants you to glorify Him with what He has given you.
DO NOT LET SOCIETY CHANGE YOU- CHANGE SOCIETY!
Dear God,
I pray you would open our eyes and see what you have given us, that we surrender our insecurities to you, that we would recognize what we have been blessed with is to be used for you, and that we would be a beacon of your love to those around us. I ask that we would see that we are more than a student, employee, boss, sibling, mom, dad, or anything and that we would remember that we are your masterpiece! Thank you so much for blessing me! It's in Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
