"Anyone who thinks fallen leaves are dead has never seen them dancing on a windy day."- Shira Tamir
Oh, how true, how true! Fallen leaves, bare branches, and sprinkling of gold, orange, and red are the beauties of fall. And what better way to embrace fall than to dress like fall! Right?! As you may know I have quite the heart for mustard yellow and anything vintage or foreign. Well at first when I put this skirt on I felt like I was Scottish because of the skirt! And that is all I can think about when I see it now! BUT after I added all the yellow and sparkly, velvet shoes I felt a little less Scottish.
I feel like autumn can be a season too many of us fall into the habit of wearing dull colors and neutrals. Believe me I love my neutrals and dark colors, but in a cold season such as this making it a bit more cheery can be just as easy as wearing some yellows, oranges, and reds! My challenge today is to not let yourself default to the dark colors to match the dreary mood- wear some color!
