1 Timothy 4:12
12. Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
In so many areas of our lives we let other people stop us from we are supposed to do. Your age shouldn't define what you can or can't do. I feel like this applies to young and old! We hear, "Maybe when you're older... You're too young... You'll never be able to do that... That time has passed..." We have a constant voice telling us we can't do things simply because we are too young or too old. But who is to judge that! If God has laid something on your heart to do something do NOT let the voice of society hold you back. Day after day young and old people continue to prove society wrong. Will you do the same?
When you choose to do, do it with God leading you. Don't use this as an excuse to do whatever you want such as drinking, drugs, and partying. Use it as the opportunity God has given us. YOU and I will fail if we attempt doing it without Him.
Dear God,
I pray that you will give each of the courage and strength to do what you have laid on our hearts. I ask that through us you will change the hearts of others when they see how you have used us. I ask that along the way our faith and relationship becomes stronger as well. It is in Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
