I have been dazzled by the feminine color of the several shades of pink for the past several months, and my interest just keeps growing!  I was wearing this dress (worn as a top here) earlier in the week and wanted to remix it!  As you can see that while I put this ensemble together I thought, "The more the pink the merrier!" Earlier in the week when I wore it, I decided I wanted to wear it again soon, but remix it a bit more so here we go!  I paired it with My skirt from Forever 21 as a top, and I liked the outcome!  So many times I have wanted to wear a dress of mine as a top by wearing a skirt over it, but I rarely have ever been able to either because the dress was too long for the skirt or the waist in either piece didn't fit with the other.  So when I plopped this skirt over top of this I was so happy it worked!  The waistline of the dress may be a little high, but that's fine by me.  Have you ever tried doing this with a skirt and dress!?
The temperatures are finally at a steady warm flow, and I couldn't be happier about it.  The trees are still VERY bare so I hope you enjoy these fun pictures in front of my childhood playhouse out in my backyard!

The Greener Side

Do you ever wish you had a different life, or think "If I only had that," or how about, "If was able to do this then I could be that?"  I think we all do.  Some more than others, but I think we all find ourselves there at some point in our lives.  The problem with that though is that God placed us exactly where we are with a plan, and we spend half our time there trying to figure out how to be somewhere else.  I encourage you to stop thinking how much greener the grass is on the other side, because the grass under your feet is what will bring you spring.  Accept where you are, trust God's plan, and live out His commands with His love carrying you into each new step.  That is when you will learn to love the grass under your feet, because no matter how dull or bright green it is- it is full of God's love and care, because it was meant for your feet.

Sharing Is Caring

We have all heard the saying, "Sharing is caring," am I right?  What do you like/not like to share? What immediately pops to mind?... Let me ask another question.  What is the  greatest thing someone has ever shared with you? For me, it's without a doubt Jesus.  I grew up in a home where my family was constantly sharing Jesus with me.  I am going to be honest with you wonderful women and say that if you aren't sharing the love of Jesus Christ with people you don't truly care about them.  Whether it be a family member, a person you work with, a best friend, a loved one, or even a stranger- if you really care about them then you have their future in mind.  We know what their eternal future will look like if they don't Jesus living in them.  God has made it mine, yours, and OUR responsibility to share Him with those people in our lives, because if we don't- who will?

Just take a moment and think about the person that shared Jesus with you, think about the person you were before you knew Jesus, and now think about the person you would be today if no one would have shared Him with you...  Be the change, and share His love with the people in your life.

The Blues

Blue is the perfect color to wear right now, as this cold weather is just so depressing, but my floral prints are here to cheer me up!  I snagged this skirt last summer at one of my all-time favorite boutiques in Savannah, Georgia, and may I just say that I am so excited to go again in just a few weeks! I am so excited to share all my favorite things about the beautiful city with all of you.  While I may wear this skirt there the only thing the blues will be doing is styling me up as I walk those gorgeous streets. Wednesday Addams

Am I, or am I not channeling Wednesday Adams in my new dress from FocusOnGlamour!?  I tried the grumpy and unamused look, but it was so not me, haha! Why try to look angry if I'm not!?  I have looked for a dress like this for such a LONG time, and of course they are all over the internet.  Most of them are so short that some kinds of underwear could be more modest though!  So when I discovered this gem on Etsy I knew I had to get it somehow!  This dress is only $45 too!  It's soft, cute, and it doesn't have be just a Wednesday Adams costume!  Why not pair it with some fun stockings, messy bun, or colorful earrings?  And no worries- I will be sharing more ways to wear it on the blog soon.  This Etsy shop happens to be based in England, she has the cutest peter pan collars, fun prints, and cute cuts...
